Legend: Cedar Trees have long been used in the Old Testament of the Bible to symbolise fertility, abundance and spiritual strength, as a result King Solomon’s temple was said to be built of cedarwood. Ancient Egyptians built ships and temples out of Cedarwood because it is fungus and insect repellent. Later for the same reason clothing wardrobes, chests and moth balls where made out of Cedarwood to discourage moths and silverfish from eating the clothing.
