Geranium was brought to Europe in the late 17th century and became popular during the Victorian era; fresh leaves of geranium were placed at formal dining tables and used as finger bowls.

Said to be helpful with inflammation and congestion of the breasts. Due to it’s phyto-estrogen components it is an excellent oil for menopause. Particularly useful for nerve, eye and joint pain. Helps to clear the body of toxins; also deals with problems such as jaundice, kidneys and gall bladder stones, diabetes and urinary infections. Guards against fluid retention and swollen ankles. Also good for sluggish congested and oily skins.
