Legend: Marjoram Sweet essential oil was very popular and a common medicinal plant amongst the ancient Greeks. The name itself originates from a Greek word meaning “Joy of the Mountains” as it was associated with the goddess Aphrodite who was said to live there.
Heal your body: May be used for conditions such as nervous spasms, or muscular stiffness with rheumatic aches and pains and swollen joints. Particularly effective in dealing with painful muscles and especially lower back when connected to digestive problems and menstrual disorders. Can also be used to calm and regulate the heart, useful with conditions such as palpitations and hypertension. May be used for nervous exhaustion and insomnia. Possibly effective against sea-sickness. Helps clear the head during colds and alleviates that stuffed up feeling.
